It’s an exciting time at Paradise Mobile and honestly, we are still buzzing.
We have just announced a major new partnership with the Government of Bermuda to support the country’s Digital Transformation Programme. In simple terms, we’re helping Bermuda upgrade how the island’s infrastructure works, connects and gets things done. In Paradise terms, we are about to sprinkle some high voltage innovation across the whole island.
If you know us, you know we never set out to be a traditional telecom. We started as a homegrown Bermudian startup with a slightly outrageous mission: build the digital foundation for the island’s future and turn Bermuda into the Silicon Valley of the Atlantic. No biggie.
From day one we have been cloud native, AI first and powered by people who get genuinely excited about things like automated network optimisation. So, when the Government issued an RFP asking for partners to help modernise national digital services, we practically sprinted towards it.
What made this partnership click so naturally is simple. We have been working closely with the Government since day one. From signing our multi year learning MoU, to building tech that solves everyday headaches for Bermudians, we have always shared the same belief that technology should make life simpler, smoother and just… better!
And with this programme, we are taking that belief island wide.
We are partnering with two brilliant global heavyweights: Google Cloud and Abacus. Together, they bring world class cloud platforms and serious digital transformation experience. Paradise brings what we always bring: innovation, ambition, local knowledge and the ability to build things fast, securely and at scale, right here in Bermuda.
A perfect example is our eKYC system. If you’ve ever signed up for Paradise from your sofa, then you’ve used it. It is the same level of digital identity verification used by major banks around the world, except it does not require weeks of paperwork, three trips to an office or sacrificing your lunch break. It is a digital identity process that is fast, secure and designed for actual human beings.
By baking technologies like this into the Government’s new digital services, Bermuda will be able to offer secure and seamless online processes that previously took days or weeks. It is all about cutting friction, scrapping queues and removing the little frustrations that nobody has time for anymore.
And this is only the beginning. Paradise currently has more than 400(!) products and services in our pipeline. Yes, really. We have built our systems to be fully cloud native and we are bringing the same architecture into the Government’s digital transformation. No other local company has delivered cloud and AI at the pace and scale Bermuda has seen from Paradise so far, and we are only just getting started.
In 2026 and beyond, expect new services, smarter systems and an island that feels more connected, competitive and ready for the future
Welcome to the next chapter. It is going to be a fun one.
