Paradise Mobile Celebrates MWC Barcelona Success with Continued Ookla Speedtest Recognition

Hamilton, Bermuda – March 10, 2026: Paradise Mobile, Bermuda’s most advanced cell service provider, has once again been recognised as the fastest mobile network in Bermuda. This latest accolade, following an intensive week of leadership at Mobile World Congress (MWC) Barcelona, reinforces Paradise Mobile’s position as a dominant force in network performance and innovation in Bermuda and beyond.

The Speedtest Award for Fastest Mobile Network by Ookla is based on a rigorous analysis of consumer-initiated Speedtest results from devices across the Island. The data confirms Paradise Mobile’s leadership in the market, delivering superior download speeds that provide a world-class experience for users in Bermuda.

Sam Tabbara, CEO of Paradise Mobile, expressed his pride in the team’s consistent performance, ‘Securing the Ookla award for the Fastest Mobile Network once again is a testament to our relentless focus on network excellence. We didn't just want to build a network: we want to build the best network. By consistently delivering top-tier speeds, we are ensuring that Bermuda remains a global leader in digital infrastructure.’

The announcement coincided with a successful series of high-level engagements at MWC Barcelona 2026. On Tuesday evening, Paradise Mobile hosted an industry networking event at Soho House, bringing together colleagues and partners from across North America and Europe. The reception welcomed representatives from tier-one telecom operators, technology partners, regulators and government representatives from across the world.

During the event, the company shared updates on its international progress, noting meaningful advancement towards securing additional operating licences. Paradise Mobile expects to announce expansion into new markets in the near future.

Paradise Mobile’s expertise was also sought after for three exclusive industry roundtables during the congress:

MWC Barcelona Ministerial Program Caribbean and Pacific Islands Roundtable: CTO Zlatko Zahirovic presented on AI considerations for connectivity, resilience and growth in island economies.

GSMA 5G Standalone Roundtable: A deep dive into the architecture and monetisation of next-generation networks.

Modernizing Telecom Legacy at Scale: A discussion on unlocking capital and driving innovation without disrupting existing services.

‘MWC is the heartbeat of our industry, and it was the perfect backdrop to celebrate our latest Ookla win,’ added Sam Tabbara. ‘From presenting at the Ministerial Program to hosting industry leaders at Soho House, we have demonstrated our commitment to innovation not just at home but on an international level. We are proud to represent Bermuda on this stage as we prepare for our next phase of global growth.’
